Margins Group supports Oguaa Breast Cancer awareness campaign
November 1, 2016IMS and NIA launch the National Identification System
September 15, 2017Ghana’s young adults are critical actors in all matters of national importance and yet very few of them have access to platforms that enable them to reach their full potential. Unfortunately, the current high levels of unemployment coupled with the global economic crisis have made it nearly impossible for the Ghanaian youth to flourish – thus Margins Youth Empowerment project was conceptualized.
The initiative was designed to invest time and knowledge into interested participants to help them finesse their dreams into viable sustainable businesses. In the past few months, Margins Group in collaboration with Enablis Ghana has created a learning space for these young adults where they have received a plethora of vital information and training from a combination of company CEOs, accountants, human resources managers, and top executives. In this space, they have conceptualized intriguing “Information and Communications Technology” (ICT) ideas and have learned how to develop them into proposal form.
Upon successful completion of the program, the participants graduated and received certification for their efforts. The candidates with the best proposals were given the opportunity to present their concepts to a panel of esteemed judges and the eventual winner will have their idea fully financed by our company.
This “Youth Empowerment” initiative is our company’s way of investing back into the Ghanaian economy.
