Danish Ambassador to Ghana, Jakob Linulf, commended Margins ID Group for advancing Ghana's digital identity agenda and development.
At a stakeholder engagement at the company's Intelligent Card Production Systems (ICPS) facility in Accra on 25th September 2025, Ambassador Linulf stated, "The Ghana Card is a major achievement, and you should be proud of your contribution to Ghana's development."
He acknowledged Margins as a leading force in Africa's digital identity sector, noting the company operates in a different league for identity solutions.
The visit comes as several African countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo and The Gambia, replicate Ghana's model to build national identity systems that drive digital transformation and socio-economic development.
"Margins ID Group is famous in Denmark, and you should take great pride in your achievements," Ambassador Linulf said. "You have our support, and I am very impressed," he added after touring the facility.

Jørgen Østergård Bollesen, Head of Trade, and Linda Kafui Abbah-Foli, Commercial Advisor, both from the Danish Embassy, accompanied him.
CEO of Margins ID Group, Moses Kwesi Baiden Jr., reaffirmed the company's commitment to deepening international partnerships and advancing Africa's digital identity agenda. He emphasized the Group will continue leveraging innovation and strategic collaborations to position Ghana as a model for continental digital transformation.
"The Danish Government deserves commendation for its contribution. We will continue collaborating to achieve new milestones. Together, we will innovate, expand, and deliver secure identification solutions that meet Africa's evolving needs," Mr. Baiden said.
He highlighted the diplomatic value of the partnership, noting Margins ID Group supports Danish Constitution Day and Embassy initiatives, demonstrating how technological collaboration strengthens cultural ties and bilateral relations.
Margins ID Group has grown from a $100 investment three decades ago into a technology leader and symbol of successful international cooperation in Africa's digital transformation.
The Denmark-Margins ID Group partnership began in 1999, with Danish support establishing Ghana as a continental leader in digital identity. Today, other African nations recognize the Ghana Card as a model.
